I Have A New Award -- The "Homer".

I just got done watching a Subway commercial on TV. It was the one where mom, dad and son are passing a subway, and dad has a temper tantrum, and mom calmly explains that their son is late for soccer practice, and his son tells him to "grow up".
Subway just lost my business.
I am getting sick and tired of companies trying to market their products by disrespecting dads. This doesn't appear to be the first time for them.
The bumbling, lazy, idiot dad is becoming a fixture in modern marketing and entertainment. And this is not seen as dramatically as in "The Simpsons" with the moron dad, Homer. So the new award will be called "The Homer". It's like an Oscar, but given to companies which portray dads in an unflattering light.
